the design

The lifestyles and how we decided to live our life nowadays forced the diets changes. Children, especially those in elementary schools, need a sufficient amount of energy to support their activities during the day. Their nutrition and lifestyle highly affect their well-being, growth, and development.

Besides providing energy, many studies also show that breakfast consumption helps in improving cognitive learning and other health benefits. Although breakfast is well-known for its benefits, many people still skip it due to lack of hunger on waking, not enough time in the morning and lack of convenience (Reddan et al, 2002).

The prototype is an application that aims to tackle this problem. This delivery application is easy to use and realistic. Parents can choose the meal, and it will show up all the nutritions and ingredients contained in the box.

They can also choose the date and time of delivery, payment method, and the application also provided the history of what they have ordered.

The reasons for skipping breakfast in children in Bangkok are not hungry, wake up late, no breakfast prepared at home and not accustomed to breakfast.

Parental influence plays a big role in dietary habits of children, because they act as role models for their children.

You might not aware, but children’s breakfast consumption behaviors correlated with parent’s wake-up time.
